Hey!.. i was wondering where i go about finding information on a certan situation...my boyfriend takes care of his dad (60yr old man) is not able to move on his own without a powered whell chair,he suffered a stroke 2 years ago...and his health since then hasnt been good. He relies on my boyfriend (age 21) to take care of him, give him meals and cleans up unsanitary messes. My boyfriend lives with his dad,and is the only living family left. he cannot afford to live on his own.So my question is..If something were to happend to my boyfriends Father (God Forbid)... is there anything he can do now that can ensure that he is takin care of...housing wise and living? anything that he can sign up for?? if any1 can give me info. or refer me to a website..that would be so helpful!

I don't know what you're looking for here. It sounds like you're looking for a free ride for your boyfriend. Does your boyfriend not want to get a job so he can take care of himself? Is he disabled also?
If his father has a life insurance policy with him as the beneficiary then he'll get that money.

well we all have social security and when we die the benefits go to are spouces and kids. so when he croaks the kid if under 18 will get benefits. since he is over 21 nothing. dad needs to write a will and leave everything in writing to the kid. though if someone does die once outstanding bill are paid the closest living relative gets anything left.

See if his father has life insurance or a will thsat states what will be given to him in case something happens. I am sure there is something else he can do but I am not sure where to get you that information.
