Why, when some help the most, there isn't any media attention given to those that are a good example of helping?
For instance the case of Darfur, Christian persecution of the early church, Christian persecution today in some countries.

Great question!!! Social Apathy is a byproduct of media, they show us what they want us to see, and other important stories remain invisible. For more on Christian persecution around the world, check out Voice of the Martyrs at www.persecution.com. Also for information about a largely unseen tragedy occurring in Uganda check out www.invisiblechildren.com. It's a great media based organization working to bring change in the region known as Acholiland where the LRA terrorizes the Ugandan people. Thousands of children walk from IDP camps and villages into the town of Gulu each night in fear that they will be abducted like the 25000-50000+ children who have been taken from their homes by the LRA and forced to be child soldiers or sex slaves. The LRA's primary targets are children between 5 and 12 because they are strong enough to carry guns but small enough to sneak into schools and abduct more children. Somehow these children and their stories have been largely unnoticed and unseen by the rest of the world. Invisible Children, Inc. is trying to change that reality and bring hope and opportunity to those beautiful 'invisible' children!

because
they have no voice. so news cant get out, which means its easily covered up.
