Most people are not overly sensitive to caffeine; in that case the most obvious effect would be as a diuretic, in which case most of it is eliminated from the body in a few hours. Some people might get ill, though... depends on the individual and the dosage.
Personally, caffeine doesn't do much for me, though I like the taste (and smell) of coffee.

If you suspect that you or someone has overdosed on caffeine pills, go to the nearest hospital ASAP!! They will increase your heart rate and could cause death.

From Wikipedia (and its sources look reliable):
"...restlessness, nervousness, excitement, insomnia, flushing of the face, increased urination, gastrointestinal disturbance, muscle twitching, a rambling flow of thought and speech, irregular or rapid heart beat, and psychomotor agitation."
"...there have been reported deaths from overdosing on caffeine pills..."

Um...I'm not sure what it does to your body. It used to be a popular thing in my high school -- to purposefully OD on them DURING school. You start having problems sleeping. You also have a buzz. When you start to "come down", you'll feel like you need to take more so that you don't get headaches. That is one bad side affect (besides lack of sleep). Your heart races and you can also have heart palpatations.
