it's my daughters wedding and i work all day and haven't had time for myself to excerise, i would like a quick idea to lose some pounds by that date, i am 5'5 and weight now 180.

There is a diet you can look up online called the grapefruit diet. Just type it in the computer and print it off. It is easy and you really don't have to exercise. the secret is the grapefruit it acts as a catalyst to help burn fat with the other foods suggested on the diet. In one week you can lose 5lbs.

Be sure to watch what you eat! Stay away from the junk food and try to cut out soda completely. Drink tons of water!! Never skip meals! Don't forget about all the fruits and veggies that many people ignore. You say you don't have time to exercise--how about parking farther in the parking lot, taking the steps, taking a quick walk during breaks. All the little things will add up!

A healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week! Try to eat healthy, drink a ton of water and get active, even if just a little!

I have the same issue, but I have until August. I have been drinking slimfast for breakfast and lunch every day. BUT I also have been parking a little farther away every day and am climbing the stairs on my lunch break, since I don't spend as much time eating :). That may not work for you, but increasing your activity a little each day will definitely work. Have lost 10 pounds in the past month. Only 40 more to go! But I'm confident that I can do it.

1) Drink a full glass of water every 45 minutes
2) buy alot of celery from a grocery store.... clean it and cut in small pieces... eat 1 level cup full every hour during the day. This will keep your GI system active throuhout the day.... this takes alot of energy, is like maintaining a low level of exercise all day long.
3) Take a good multi-vitamin daily... this will keep you from having as many cravings...
4) buy non fat yougart sweetened with splenda... pour it over fruit.. eat this for lunch every day at work.
5) eat a can of beans every day before you eat dinner...( black beans, red beans, ect... no BBQ beans with sugar added) This will give you ample protien and help curb appitite. You will not eat as much of your regular meal.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

slim fast for breakfast and lunch then a healthy dinner. I have also fallen in love with sugar free jello. I add fruit and it is the best snack ever! Also drink water and more water and more water. Ive lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks

salad little or no dressing ,water

no bread, no sweets, no pop, nothing fried in grease,
nothing after 4pm to eat do at least 1/2 hour of exercise 4times a week

if you need a snack eat a few grapes or (fruit)

it's a long hard process but its worth it and you will get tired of this quickly but stick with it

it really works

I dont know if diet pills are an option for you but I take phentermine. It was originally prescribed to me by my Dr, but now I get it from the internet, you can go to www.customhrt.com then click other treatments then weight loss then pick your dosage I take 37.5 It is 100 dollars for 3 months, I llost 40 lbs in 5 months!!! check it out let me know how it works for you

Lunch less. Move more.

And don't get too crazy about the numbers. You don't want to make yourself sick at this VERY important time in your/your daughter's life. Believe me: she'd rather have you there and chubby, than washed out and hospitalized.
