I have a recipe that I am trying to make and it calls for milk, but all I have is whipping cream. Can I use it? Or is it better to use water? Please help? Also is there a substitute that I can use for eggs?

2 tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes.

If you have it, add 1/4 cup of dry milk powder to 1 cup of heavy cream. This will provide the protein that you lose without the eggs and milk. Substitute this mixture at a volume of 1 to 1 for eggs and milk. You're recipe may be a little richer, but I think you'll find it works.

Definitely try evaporated milk. Or water. The whipping cream may cause whatever you're making to have a different consistency.

I would think you could water down the whipping cream, maybe half and half.

for the eggs you can use 1/2 banana, 1/4 cup applesauce, or tofu.

depending on what you're making. if its pankakes or waffles or something water would be okay. but if its a dessert use the cream. or go to the store. just know that itll be rich. mmm
