You might want to check with your state's website. The FAFSA form ties into all the federal grants. However, it is pretty much too late to start looking for outside scholarships. However, it is worth a try. I will list some free sources to locate them.

First, current high school students can locate local scholarships at the high school guidance office.

Second, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web.

Third, your high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships. However, some of these might be a bit too early for a high school freshman.

Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites. There are scholarships for a variety of things including ethnicity, clubs, hobbies, and even wearing duct tape to the high school prom. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search based on information entered onto a form on the website.

Good luck!

Get the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and fill it out; by doing that you will have automatically applied for the Pell Grant, as well as some other grants that are covered by the FAFSA. Also check into grants that are offered by your college of choice, see if you meet the requirements, and apply for those. Good luck! :)

I am using the military route. Spend a few years in the military and they will pay 100% of your tuition. And if you decide to stay in the military, you can retire in just 20 years. Look at the site below to contact your local recruiter.

credit card. human beings tend to no longer completely comprehend how plenty they are paying in pastime each month and how plenty it provides up. at the same time as paying off you're card would provide you extra "play money" each month, paying off your credit card is going to declare you a great purchase extra money in the long-term. Paying the minimum each month will enhance the quantity of time you are going to take to pay it returned (for some human beings it would not even hide the pastime ultimately.) no longer purely will you no longer be paying extra money in pastime, yet you will choose the extra useful credit as time is going on.. much extra so with a clean newborn on the way. a extra useful credit card score can help in lots of many procedures, like coverage (that's different based on your credit.) Kill the credit card... ultimate decision in the long-term, and the destiny is what you rather choose to think of approximately.
