You could add Romano or Parmesan cheese to the top of your pizza too, if the sausage isn't precooked, then you want to cook them up before you top your pizza, but I would cook them first then put them on the pizza, then cook the pizza.

you can also use shredder cheddar cheese with your mozzerella. colby jack cheese is good also. now days though just about any cheese is acceptable. if you want sausage look for the stores homemade sausage. it is packaged like a lb of ground meat so make sure it says sausage. brown it and crumble it as you brown it. put it on top of the pizza then your cheeses and bake your pizza. the cheeses keeps the sausage from burning if the sausage is under the cheeses.

Sprinkle grated Romano cheese and/or grated parmesian on the grated mozzerella.

Remove the italian sausage from the csing and brown it and crumble it. SPrinkle that on the crust with the pizza sauce. Put the cheese over the top.

Your on a pizza roll tonight man, got a craving???? LOL

Top it with mozz but you could add some parmisan. Or get funky and try some goat cheese. Look for some good Boars Head Sopressa or any of thier hard salamis and cut the slices your self. You dont have to cook it beforehand at all.

you can use whatever cheese you like. try mixing a few together. you can either buy the big sausage and cook it slightly (quickly pan fry) and then let it finish cooking on the pizza.
