I'm not aware of Photoshop for free; Photoshop Elements is only $40 to $50 depending on where you buy it. For free, I would recommend IrfanView or Picasa (from Google). Both are free and easily found in a search.

Adobe Photoshop is normally around $600.00 for the program, unless you're a student. Then you can get a good deal at your College Bookstore. They won't just give it to you. Any "free" version has limited functionality, like you can't save a file when you're done with it. Or you can only do very, very basic graphic designing.

No where. Its illegal to get a program like that for free, unless you know someone how has bout several activiation keys and is kind enough to give you a 500$ sting of numbers/letters for free.

Adobe announced that a web base version with limited functionality will be put up. Its free to use. But when its up I have no clue.

you can't. there's no way to acquire the full version of photoshop for free and still have it be legal. the closest you can get is downloading the trial version from adobe's website.

you can find the trial here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Windows&product=39
