She loves you very much and wants to keep you on the straight and narrow. I have a 18 y/o son who is a straight A student. I kicked his butt all the way to UNC Chapel Hill. He wants to be a Lawyer and if I would have let him flounder he might have wound up in deep trouble with some of his Buddies. Keep your nose to the grind stone and .......................When in doubt, do whats right! Good luck !

The question you are trying to ask I assume is Why are Mom's so strict? Dear child we are living in perilous times, it is not because we are trying to make your lives miserable we are trying to safegard our children and teach them responsibility at the same time. You have to remember your mom was once a teen too. And she knows all the perks and quirks about growing up and what illusions are out there. So if your mom says no, it's not because she is trying to be mean, she is doing what is best for you. If there is a rule or a restriction that you think is unfair or you don't understand sit down with your mom calmly and ask her about this. She may have reasoning that you don't understand or may have not considered. And by the way be thankful you have a mom that cares enough to be strict.

Because your grammar is piss poor-- she worried that your education is lacking. See a perspm with a basic mastery of the English language would have asked" WHY IS MY MOM SO STRICT"

Your mom can not "do" strict. You need to further review verbs and adverbs.

Go to school, don't do drugs, don't drink and drive, don't have sex until college

You didn't mention what she was strict about, but I've learned that parents are strict with their kids as a way to show they care and are concerned for your well being. If she sets curfews, chores, and rules about dating, it means that she wants you to grow up to be a responsible person who respects her (or him) self. My parents were pretty strict too, and I'm glad for it now that I'm older and have lived on my own for 8 years. Her rules taught me the value of a dollar, how to spot a player from a mile away, and how to choose respectful and wonderful friends. Follow her rules. You'll have plenty of time after you move out and start paying your own bills to live life on your terms.

That question doesn't make sense. Maybe she "does so strict" because you have bad grammar.

Why do you no grammer? If you meant why is your mother strict it's probably because she is tring to protect you from some stuff.

its a tough world out there, and she's just trying to do what mom's do best : trying to protect you. She loves you.

Sometimes parents are reluctant to let their children grow up...

Just talk to her about it and let her know how you feel. Compromise about any problems you have and try to find a middle ground.
