i REALLY need help on how to do a video! please...?

i wnt to make a video with pictures and music but i have no clue how or what program to use! please help me! thanx

Windows Movie Maker if you have Windows XP it should come with it. All you need to do is import your pictures and then audio files and presto your own video.

If you're just starting up in doing it and just have a pc/laptop and a videocam, you'll be needing hardwares and software.

First check the videocam and computer system - you must have the required cables (usb/firewire) to connect to the computer port (must have a capture card with compatible port). Ask the computer hardware store for the best compatible hardware for your gadgets.

Once connected, you'll need a capture or editing software like WMMaker(preloaded wtih windows xp OS) or Ulead or Nero (whatever you prefer) to be able to download the videos from the camcorder. open software and capture the video, then you may edit (add music, transitions, title, pictures, etc...), then save or burn to cd (vcd/dvd).

And once you get started you'll get the hang of it since most softwares are user friendly - just click the tab you want to do.
