Matching Tattoos with my mom?

I was wondering if anybody knew a good sign for eternal friendship or some kind of symbol for love of family/best friend ?? ... me and my mom want to get matching tattoos and i thought since she is my best friend and the only person i truly trust i wanted to get a tattoo with that meaning behind it ... if you know any good ideas and have a link to the picture please help .. thank u soo much!!!! P.S. if you do'nt agree with idea of tattooing thats ok i respect your opinion but respect mine, no critisism just picture and idea help please! thank u!!!

try the infinity symbol, looks kinda like a figure 8 but sideways.
or you could use 2 hearts. if you use ones with an empty center (picture a double outline, kinda like a tube bent in the shape of a heart), you can turn them sideways in toward each other and intertwine/link together the top parts, so they look like the infinity symbol, but made with hearts. if you need me to explain this more just email me! i came up with this design when i was trying to create something for my fiance and i, but we used something else. we each have opposite halves of a yin yang symbol. mine has waves in it and his has flames. you could try something like that too. good luck!

Look online...go find books on significant signs and stuff. Different cultures have different designs denoting friendship. The best way is to look everywhere for a design that calls your name.

It's pointless to ask others to help you choose a tattoo design. It's your tattoo and you'll be wearing it forever. Only you can really be the judge for what it's gonna look like, how big, where to put it...etc.

If you go to tattoo message boards with a question like this, I guarantee the answers will be less gentle. Believe me, I've seen WAY too many harsh ones.

Just trust your own gut to choose the best design for you.

instead of that i have always liked the idea of getting tattoos together but getting something that reminds you of the other person. that way it is special. i could show you a picture of some obscure symbol and tell you it means whatever but does it really mean that to you??? for instance if your mother enjoys knitting, you could get a spool of yarn with knitting needles to remind you of her. or WHATEVER makes you think fondly of your mother and she coudl do the same for you. that way it would be more special than just some random symbol or sign. that's just my two cents.
