i shave my armpits, but even right after i shave there are still little bits of hair visible..... what can i do to make the hair go away? i would wax but it would be kinda weird to ask my mom to take me to a place to get my pits waxed and plus it would hurt.......so......... what can i do to have smoother-looking pits?

I would use Nair. Not Veet though...my friend used Veet and it made her legs break out in little red bumps that burned all over. It was probably an allergic reaction, but I wouldn't take any chances. Nair is your best bet. It smells nasty, but it will leave your pits smooth and hair-free.

I know people have warned you about Veet, but let me confirm it. I am going to the beach for spring break so I thought I would get a head start on "spring cleaning" a few areas. Veet burned the @#$% out of my armpits, inner thighs and other generally sensitive areas (although it did do a nice job on my calves). I have been walking around the past two days like a cowboy... my hands on my hips and my legs bowed out! Wow! I am soooo sexy!! I think I preferred my slightly hairy look over this discomfort.
Good luck and know that you are probably way more aware of the situation than anyone else.

Waxing is not a bad idea and it doesn't really hurt but if you want the little hairs to disappear than you might want to use nair or veet which is a creme you apply and then remove!! The point is that the hair growth decreases after you have used it for a while!!

It's okay to have a little hair under your armpits, but maybe you should use Nair, the good smelling kind. I get little itty bitty hairs too, but I just wait until my next time to shave my armpits.

It's recommened to shave the way your hair grows (if it grows down, shave down, you know) and so the tricky part with underarms is that the hair grows in every direction. So if you shave in every direction too (once to the right, left, up down...) you pretty much get every hair. And it's way less painful.
