I have found some very pretty hammered aluminum trays that I want to hang on my walls, they ae rather large - what should I use to hang them?

try attaching some oatley plumbing appoxy with fishing line

Put molley screws in the sheetrock wall, then you can hang anything you want with those screws without needing to 'hit' studs.

Wood screws if you can locate the wall studs. If you are going in to drywall, try molybolts to hold the load.

get the screws that come with anchors the anchors are long plastic things that go into the wall to provide more support they are supposed to help it hold up to fifty pounds or so
