Eye lash glue is a tough glue to get out. Try some olive oil. Maybe even some goo gone dab it on a paper towel and try to rub on the glue only. Then wash the area with a baby wipe.

Wouldn't it be great if these idiots read the question before jumping to conclusions!!

I am not for certain on how you tape GSD ears.
I am a rottweiler breeder and we sometimes have to tape our puppies ears down, however I do have a Friend who breeds GSD'S and I also have another Friend who who has border collies so a am aware of how other taping methods work.
I don't use glue I just use a cloth tape and you don't want to use really sticky tape.
If his ears are getting irritated I would clean them with peroxide.
My method that I use is I tape the ears and leave them up for two days and then clean them out with peroxide and let them breath 24 hrs and repeat the process until they are were I want them.
Hope this helps

You're going to have to shave the hair off with clippers. At the very least, you should have a groomer do it, but ideally you would take the dog to the vet and have the technicians do it, to avoid cutting the dog's ear by accident. They will also have extra hands around to help keep your dog still to avoid injury.

Note: DO NOT use scissors!!

The only thing I can suggest is cutting the glue off with electric pet trimmers. This should do the trick. The hair will grow back. Best of luck.
