I have cousins living in Germany, even though we're east indian they speak fluent german and i've personally never spoke to them over the phone. But anyways I want to visit there, so can anyone tell me what it looks like...?

You'll enjoy it. Many people in Germany understand and speak English quite well, so you won't have too many problems communicating.
In addition to quaint old towns, Germany also has very hip cities. Berlin is probably the most interesting city for young people in Europe today, but cities such as Hamburg or Munich also have very active art, music and youth culture scenes.

I have cousins there also. The landscape and climate is much that of the midwestern state, Ohio.

The communities are much like that of other countries in western europe. Narrow brick avenues, 200 year old houses of concrete structure built 1 next to the other. Beautiful centers in every village.

And the countryside is farmland and forest, with a castle here and there. Best viewed at 190 kph on the Autobahn.

Should take a trip, the ppl are very welcoming.

(Consider giving them a ring. Speak slowly and pronunciate well. English is taught intensively in the schools.)
