Alfredo sauce is great
2-4 servings
15 min
1/2 cup butter
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces half-and-half cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
black pepper (to taste)
Melt butter in sauce pan.
Add cream cheese and whisk as you add half & half.
Whisk until smooth adding cheese, garlic powder and pepper.
Simmer until heated through.
Pour over any pasta you choose, we even liked it on cheese tortellini.
Serve with a nice green salad, garlic bread, and a nice glass of wine.
Very filling!

I'll say that a great creamy & cheese sauce will go great
maybe a herb & butter cream sauce
*a putanesca sauce * tomato sauce spiced up with red pepper flakes & chopped black & green olives
*a simple basil, olive oils & lots of garlic
* or a creamy curry & pineapple sauce with some chopped green olives...

Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Saute some onion and garlic in olive oil.
Add cream to the mixture and stir vigorously.
Pour over noodles and serve.
Good luck.

go simple as in fresh herbs, cheese (parmasean), olive oil, salt and pepper. Or to be a bit fancier, sautee a few chopped garlic cloves in a sautee pan with a few anchovies, add some olive oil, with a small pinch of red pepper flakes and salt and pepper. Toss in your pasta to coat. voila!

Two of my favorites are very simple:
olive oil and parmesan cheese
or
an alfredo sauce, from thick cream and parmesan, maybe with a little cooked broccoli tossed in.
