why do girls ask a guy out?

is it because they think the guy want ask them out.. and men do you look down on a girl that does that.. i am old school and i think it looks like the girl cant get a date when she ask out a boy ... like she thinks less of her self.. or am i just old fashion... men a women please give me your input on this

Please don't take offence to this but that's old school thinking. Now don;t get me wrong I feel that a man needs to be a man but what if the woman likes the man and he has no clue? How can he ask her out if he doesn't even know about her feelings. I say if a woman likes a man then she should approach him just like we do to women. There's nothing wrong with a woman telling a man how she feels about him. Besides it shows to me as a man that she knows what she wants and is not afraid of going after it.

I know all about the old school frame of thought but all these years women have fought to have equal rights that men have and this is one of the things that come along woth th territory. It really comes down to a person's level of confidence and the ability to communicate. If there was something that a woman had to say I would want to hear it instead of going off clues and hints. I'll go one step further and say that men don't always "get it". It may seem clear as day that the signals that a woman is sending but that only leaves room for error. What if the man reads into it the wrong way or just doesn't get that she's even flirting or whatever.

I don't think any less of a woman that asks a man out. I actually find it very flattering and hey I'll be honest it's a boost to ego. It does not mean that she's desparate or throwing herself at a man.

I hope that this helped you some. And by the way I'm 30 and know all about beng a gentleman as my mother taught me well and I try to make sure that I'm being a gentleman at all times and I'll do anything to prove to woman that chivalry s not dead.
