today he was all in my diary and i caught him he says it was cute cuz everthng in there was about him but i feel so embarressed. he keeps trying toread the rest. Should i let him read it?

Tell your boyfriend that you consider your diary a very personal and private thing which you do not want him or anyone else to read without your permission. He was dishonoring your privacy and definitely inconsiderate of you as a person when he read your diary. You need to let him know your honest feelings about this and tell him he is expected to never do this again. Be truthful and let him understand that you found his behavior embarrassing and he needs to apologize so the two of you can get on with your relationship in a "mutually" respectful way. Only then will you be able to put this distasteful episode behind you.

it's not cute; not in the least. a diary or journal is where a person writes personal, intimate, private stuff. it's not chalk on a sidewalk for the world to read.
no, you shouldn't let him read it....there's a bigger issue here and it's your privacy and he's obviously too immature to show you respect.

I let my boyfriend read my diary last year--everything in there was about him--and he smiled and told me to write some more. Lol!
But if you're embarressed, just explain that to him and maybe he will understand that those are your thoughts and you want to keep them that way.

First take a look to make sure you dont have anything in there that would make him mad or pis him off (like you crushing on another guy). If everything seems alright & he wants too, sure, go ahead. To him it will seem like sign that you really trust him and he'll appreciate it and might open up to you some more also.

If you want to keep your diary private, keep it in a private place where no one can get to it. If you wish to share your true and most intimate feelings about your b/f, then share your diary with him. Sometimes we can express ourselves better with pen and paper than we can by just saying out loud what we feel. It's entirely up to you what you do. But me personally. I wouldn't share my private thoughts with any one.

NO you should not let him read the rest because that is your peronal business and he had no right to read it in the first place it is your fellings and he should respect that sense he is your boyfriend.

No!! regardless of the fact that everything in the diary was about him and/or are positive things that you said about him, he still invaded your privacy, no telling what he might snoop through next. If anything you should make him apologize!

you need to put your foot down and let him know that you have a personal private life outside of his. every thing does not revolves around him . be sure to let him know you are very upset and need an apology and a promise it wont happen again
