why can't people, the majority are scientist, understand there is a being i mean this is what i think many people's (majority scientist) philosophy is .....BANG!!!!!...thats it and then evolution but why isn't evolution going on now......i don't get it is everything just distorted by the press or however these ideas get out or is this what many "scientist" truly think and believe?! and am i just dreaming or do these "scientist" seem well stupid?! :-P there's a butt full to work with ....NOW GO AT IT!!!!!

i have no idea what you just typed..
oh wait i think i get it... are you asking why we still arent evolving?
well sir i think we are.... we just cant tell right now because it takes millions of years....
plus havent you heard that people are hitting puberty sooner? that has to be something.

Evolution is going on now. Bacteria can evolve in a matter of hours, for example. Other creatures take a lot longer. Do you understand the theory of 'the survival of the fittest'? Well that no longer applies to human beings as it used to because we are now much better at saving the weak, the sick, the disabled, the diseased etc, etc, and these people live on to procreate, sometimes bearing sick offspring, which they would not have been able to have without advances in medical science. I THINK THIS IS A GOOD THING. I would like to think that we are at a stage now where our evolution involves how we treat our fellow man rather than how physically fit we are.
Some scientists believe the big bang theory. There are other theories. I think you will find scientists have much more sound, detailed evidence to support their theories than those who believe in a story book written a couple of thousands of years ago that people still insist on taking LITERALLY.

The big bang isn't an answer to how it started, it only answers how far back we can determine time. When all things space are compressed to a single point all laws of physics break down and time as we understand it doesn't exist. Matter being at one point means that nothing changes. Until the expansion (big bang) occurs. Then time can be measured. It is possible that the universe has always been meaning it doesn't have a creator. It just continues to expand and clasps over and over again. Evolution is happening we see it in viruses that mutate/evolve after we create a vaccine.

"think many people's (majority scientist) philosophy is .....BANG!!!!!"
- What is this BANG you speak of? If you're referring to the Big Bang THEORY (not philosophy), it is more of a slow expansion than an explosion.
"but why isn't evolution going on now"
- It IS continuing.
Scientists are not stupid. Without them, you wouldn't be on the computer right now insulting them for no good reason.

as they too, question about a universe and it s creation, so too do religious follower s wonder .
Both the follower s of religion and scientists, come from the same Creator, same single Home of Love.
All have been sent forth to express there own impressions of Love.
Some Love to disbelieve in a creator while creating there own picture of creation, therefore enjoying creating themselves. This is the flow of there Love. Of giving there Love to the Creator and all it s creations.
Too , also, do the Follower s of religions do. As each one follow s a religion, They too, express there Love to the Creator and it s creations around.
By showing our freedom, we follow our hearts , our Love expressed at it s best. And Thus glowingly revealing your own individual dance to God, a pinpoint of flashing dancing light moving through out a live and dancing universe. Serving God by making him smile by the show .
And returning to Him to feel the embrace of restfull peace that is needed to rejuvinate after a long tireing wonderfull dance.
Sharing the knowledge from the experience and observation of other dancers.

Science shows us that great complexity does not just arise spontaneously. It is inconceivable that even the simplest bacterium could exist without something being responsible for the complexity of its structure, its biochemistry and so on. It would take the lifetimes of a billion universes for it to appear spontaneously, by pure chance - in fact it is probably safe to say that it simply could never happen.
This goes all the more for human beings. It's surely no coincidence that the only thing that we regard as truly intelligent - the human brain - is also the most complex thing in the known universe. Intelligence requires enormous complexity, far beyond anything that could conceivably exist without something being responsible for its existence.
By the same reasoning, it's infinitely more unlikely still that an intelligent entity capable of designing and creating an entire universe and everything in it could just exist from nowhere, from nothing, without anything being responsible for its existence.
Complexity, and especially the massive complexity required for intelligence, can therefore only arise from an antecedent, non-intelligent process - In the case of life on Earth, this means biological evolution.
So, to the extent that science allows us to reliably distinguish between plausible ideas and implausible ideas, it does effectively rule out the possibility of an intelligent entity as the uncaused cause of everything that exists (and thereby rules out souls, angels, life after death and all the other paraphernalia of religious belief).
As for evolution:
Humans are apes, descended from earlier apes. Our closest relatives are chimpanzees, and the most recent common ancestor of both humans and chimpanzees was approximately 6 million years ago.
The way to understand our origins is to remember that living organisms are in a state of constant change - It's not that evolution *can* occur, but that it *must* occur, simply because there is no mechanism in living organisms to ensure perfect, flawless reproduction for ever.
Suppose you could study a population of chimpanzees in the jungle, on a timescale of millions of years. Clearly, each individual only lives a few decades, so the population is constantly being succeeded by individuals which are different from their parents, because reproduction is imperfect - and remember, this is *inevitable*. It can't *not* happen. All the time this population is inter-breeding, the genes are getting mixed together, and only genes which work well with all other chimpanzee genes will tend to get passed down to successive generations (because individuals with genes that don't work well together will tend not to survive and reproduce).
However, suppose that circumstances arise which cause a group to become genetically isolated from other chimpanzees. This could be as a result of an accident of geography (e.g. an impassable river) or breeding preference or simply great distance. There will develop two distinct groups of chimpanzees which can never again exchange genes, because they have become different enough that mating will not produce viable offspring. This is what biologists define as speciation - i.e. the population has forever split into two distinct groups. Biologists have observed many instances of speciation, so there is no doubt that it occurs.
Assuming that both groups continue to survive, it is again *inevitable* that they will diverge genetically - There is no possible way that both groups, isolated and independent from each other, can change in exactly the same ways, and the longer they continue to breed, the more different they will become. Over millions of years, given that the rate of genetic change via mutation tends to remain fairly constant, the two groups will become as distinct as today's chimpanzees and humans are from each other, and from their most recent common ancestor.
All this is based on what we *know* is true - it's not supposition or guesswork, and remember it's not just possible, it absolutely *has* to happen, because there is no mechanism in biology to make reproduction a 100% perfect, flawless process.
NB: The reason we're classed as apes is that there is no valid way to group all the other apes together that doesn't also apply to humans. In other words, whatever criteria you use to define what is an ape, in order to include chimpanzees, gorillas, orangs and gibbons, humans will also fit those criteria. Indeed, chimpanzees are more closely related to humans than to gorillas, and gorillas are more closely related to humans and chimpanzees than they are to orangs, so any classification that separated humans out from those other apes would not make any sense.

It seems people who haven't read too much like to come on here, spout some nonsense, and then say something like "Now go at it!" Go at what? You should probably go and read some on evolution (I guess is what you are asking about,) and then come back here with something coherent.
