My great grandfather used to eat it with pasta. no sauce or anything, just stir peanut butter into it while it was hot.
he also loved it along side lemon meringe pie.
Peanut butter/peanuts are also very popular in Thai cooking. mix peanut butter with some soy sauce, garlic, chopped chilis, cilantro and a bit of oil and you have a nice salad dressing.

Peanut butter goes with jelly, bread (obviously), and bananas. Also, you could smear celery with peanut butter and add raisins.

mmm, it goes well in cookies, candy bars....with jelly or fluff or honey on sandwiches, on celery and bananas and ice cream......my mom used to eat peanut butter and bacon sandwiches, which doesn't sound appealing (or that healthy!), but she says they were the best!

I don't think it would fit in very well with some vegetables.
Peanut butter and tomatoes?

It's good with celery and great in home made cookies. It also tastes good with meat (ie. satay sauce).
