Don't get me wrong, he's very nice and friendly. He wouldn't hurt a fly. But, I caught him having pre-marital sex. Now I'm worried that he will go to hell when he dies. What should I do?

Thanks for all the answers. I decided to put him on a leash and take away his doggy snacks. That'll learn him. Hopefully he didn't knock the ***** up, cuz I don't want my neighbor complaining about a litter of mutts.

There are far lesser things that send us to hell and we are all guilty of something. If you think that you are going to heaven because you haven't commited that particuar sin, you are mistaken.

If you, or your friend haven't accepted Jesus as your savior and accepted the sacrifice He made on the cross to cover you from all your sins then your both are in the same boat. If you have been saved, then there is nothing you can do for your friend except present him the choice of accepting Jesus as his savior. He has to make the choice and is responsible for his own decision.

The only other thing you can do is pray and ask God to move his heart to realize the necessity of that decision. ...and don't stop praying until he chooses, if your really are his friend. God hears and answers those prayers but it may take some time before his heart is right to accept it.

What you can do is stop being so damn religious. How does hell exist? What a load of non-sense. Even if it did, surely you would not be judged on 1 action. I mean I've done the lot in my youth, drugs, gambling, 1 night stands, fights, everything. But now I'm a very well educated college professor who work his hardest in a very deprived neighbourhood to get kids an education who otherwised would fall by the wayside. Am I going to hell for my actions?
No, I'm not, because my work is good, and I'm no longer like that. Surely in this age of science, all religion has been descredited. We know Adam and Eve was non-sense, we evolved, not just suddenly appeared. How can anyone beleive anything a book that talks about Adam and Eve says?
I mean, come on, it is a book. Do you pick up Sherlock Holmes, read it, and beleive it actually happened?
Religion is the number 1 cause of death in this world after disease. What is the purpose of religion now?
Surely it is past its sell by date. It was there as a means of keeping society in order before the days of police and military force. It did this by scaring people, if they are not good, they will go to hell.
So your friend will not be going to hell, you need not worry, as hell certainly does not exist.

Marriage ceremonies was institutionalized to protect a relationship, it never was mandate of God to get two people on a ceremony and proclaim them married. Adultery may somehow made law by God because cheating is part of lying to someone who is not faithful to their commitment specially if that adultery will lead to abandoning the reponsibility to a partner. Pre-marital sex if done as a promiscous act of the two or being committed by someone who is taking advantage of the weakness of another without a promise of any responsiblity to the consequence of doing it may lead to sin. Hell is still too premature to consider for this time. Help your friend to be responsible to whatever may happen to his illicit acts. Also make sure he is doing it to a single girl and not to a married one. Even human law have a punishment for that.

Honey, if that's the case then alot of us are going to be meeting again in the "fiery depths of hell" Look at the bright side, hell is going to be the happening place. You may even wish you end up there instead of the other place

Well dear, you personnally cannot save anyone from Hell. You can suggest things but the task of not going to Hell ultimately resides in the sinner and the Father himself. Remember: Judge not lest ye be judged.

Hey first of all if he die right he wont go to hell. He will go to heaven Ok. Then u never know what is his problem is. His propblem might be with his life or he is trying to get back with his girl that he love. If he end his life then that is his problem. If u really care for Ur best friend then tell him u will marry with the girl that u love and he will be more happy to hear it. Because this guy is deeply in love with his girl that she is far from him.

When you point one finger at him, three fingers are pointing back at you, if you actually go to hell from having pre-marital sex, heaven is going to be a pretty empty place to be. It doesn't seem like you have enough of your own problems to deal with that you need to worry about someone elses. Tell him I'll meet him there and not to worry because he'll have lot's of company.

well, its very obvious you are christian? Or at least I can only assume. I used to be christian, though I'm far from it now. Anyways, assuming your religion is christian, you should know that all your friend needs to do is repent. Seeing, as your God is so forgiving, he will forgive your friend and all will be well. So, thats my advice. Or I could just tell you I dont believe premarital sex is a sin, but thats my opinion. Hope I helped somewhat.

Noone is perfect.Have you talked to him about this or is he a believer? If he is a believer then do let him know that he needs to ask for forgiveness & genuinely repent of his sins.If he's not a believer the best thing to do is to share the good news of Christ with him.Make sure you don't judge him & let him know your not doing so but that you are concerned for him.

Pray...

Prayer is your best option. You cannot "save your friend", only God can do that. You should love and support him, but at the same time let him know that it is sin and you don't condone it. Be careful not to condemn him and '"beat the bible over his head". You can do alot of damage that way, and actually work against God, albeit, innocently.
