Because she apparently hates me because she is obviously in love with my boyfriend... i am trying to be nice (even though it is against my nature)... so... I was wondering... do I really have to like her? Is it seriously required? If she insults me, I can.... insult her back? I like all of his friends besides this one... she's a *****.

If they aren't best friends then no, you don't have to like her. As for her insulting you and causing drama - you don't have to take that crap either. Stand up for yourself and make sure your bf knows whats going on. He shouldn't be allowing a friend (male or female) to treat his gf badly.

If you let him know you do not like her or appear jealous then he may let you go. Friends are really great for siphoning bad prospects. Hide your feelings unless she tries to take him from you....then say it's me or her.

you can do whatever you want.
but just remember that she's jealous of you. you have what she obviously wants, you'd be jealous too!
and ask yourself if you really want to stoop to her level and be a b*tch right back.
