My hair is almost to my butt in length. You think it's too long? My fiance does but Im growing it out to donate it.

It is wonderful that you are growing your hair out to donate. That is really sweet, and your husband should get over himself. I mean you will cut it soon enough right. Long hair can be very beautiful.

I did that. the problem with that is that you have to take exeptional good care of your hair in order for it not to look like a rung out mop. You need to get trims every 2 months and use deep conditioners. My hair was long and curly but after a while - the curls wouldn't even curl the right way. I donated 12 inches - and I love my new short do! I believe they need at least 10 inches - if you think you have that - cut it girl!

I dont think that to your butt would be too long. As long as you have no problem keeping it up, or out of the way. How long is it now, because you only need 10 inches to donate.

Well, I'm a guy with really long hair, so I might be a little biased, but I don't think hair can get "too long"... maybe damaged, in bad conditions, but the way I see it, the longer the better.

Your hair is too long when it starts getting icky and faded at the ends. If you are growing it out for a good cause, you should try to grow it out that long.

I dont like hair past the waist line, it seems sorta cousin it-ish any longer, and i cant help but think how old the hair is, when u cut it u will be happy with how it comes back to life

My hair is waist length and my husband loves it. He would be so upset if I cut it any shorter. I think anything past the waist is a bit much.

long hair is never too long.it is just..well, long. mine is waist length and i'm planning to grow it as long as i can and like. its your hair anyway, not his. you can grow it any length you like and do what ever you like with it. love your hair gurl!
