I've been craving them like crazy and load up on them at subway. I know for a fact I'm not pregnant so I know that's not why I'm craving them. I think I might be lacking in that certain vitamin found in them or maybe my tastes have just changed.

There are two key vitamins in banana peppers. Vitamin A and Vitamin C. There is also capsaicin (the oil that makes chili peppers hot) and that, unlike the two vitamins, is addictive.

That is more likely than not what you are craving.

Vitamins A and C but especially C. The calories are only about 15 to 25 calories (depending on the size).

I'd say Vitamin C, it's found in all peppers.
