An atom bomb is a nuclear bomb, but there are a variety of nuclear bombs.

The "A-Bomb" was the type of nuclear weapon dropped on Japan. The "H-Bomb" (hydrogen) was developed in the 50's and has yet to be used.

no the nuke is much more powerful since a atom is a stable molecule and a neutron :hence the name nuclear is much more unstable therefore making a much bigger explosion
