Grew up with it, went away from it in my teens, stayed away (agnostic) until my thirties when I found it was the truth that after all. There is no going back to my old beliefs now that I've found and love the living God. Jesus is the way, truth and life!

I didn't give it much thought growing up but I was happy I came from such a strong christian family and now I am a christian myself and hope to hand down the good values to my children. The following of Jesus Christ are truely words to live by.

It was drilled in to me from the day I was born, till I left home at 18.....not for me, but I have gained more appreciation for the Bible in recent years....the messages, not the modern day messengers...
Joycee: I felt that way by the time I left home, Have explored alot of ideas since...the explorations in other modes of thought actually helped me to appreciate many of the writings in the Bible better, but in a much different light and much different interpretations than what I was taught. Try to look into it with your own heart, and not the interpretations that they gave you, there are different levels of understanding to be found there, 2 people can look at the same passage, and get way different things out of it, according to one's level of understanding of spritual truths.

I was on a search for God as a teen-ager, when I heard the message of Jesus Christ...I knew I found what I had been looking for. I received Christ right there with Joy at 14....been serving him ever since!
