I want to go on a road trip and not plan on coming home. I want to know what the best Vehicle to live out of is? I was thinking of VW's. I want something inexpensive, low gas milege, easy to work on, and somewhat reliable. ANYTHING WILL HELP.
THANKS GOD BLESS

Old school bus. The van style. They are cheap. They are tough. They are roomy. By law, they were well maintained. By law, when they reach a certain age and/or mileage, they musty be retired. They are in better shape than most anything in their price range. Lots of folks convert them into campers. If it is a diesel, it will get close to 20 mpg on the highway if it is a 4 tire model and about 17 mpg if it is the larger 6 tire model.

Get a cargo van, they are usually white and you can do what ever you want in the cargo area. This is what I have done and you can park anywhere and not look out of place. My van is a Chevy Express and I have an air mattress in the back to sleep on. I picked mine up used on Craigslist for $1000 bucks..

A VW Van or even any kind of minivan that you can take the back seat out of so you can sleep comfortably will be alright. Whatever you choose, you need to remember it needs room for all your stuff, and room for you to sleep also. VW's are easy to fix if they break, so if you can find one of those, that's your best bet.....good luck and have fun!

Try something like a GM conversion van or something like that...I wouldn't go with a VW its foreign so parts are expensive.

Can't go wrong with any van really.

Ford, Dodge, and Chrysler sucks, remember that though.

A motorhome. BTW, you have some interesting capitalization habits.
