Get one of those balloon baskets. They'll put the money inside with glitter and shredded paper and stuff. That way it's creative AND other people can see it too, without being able to "pluck" the cash off the branches...anyone tries to get into your gift and........BANG!!!!!! people will notice!

Give them a book on how to build a strong marriage and through out the book tape money to the pages. The further they get into the book reading the more money they will realize is there.

But, if they arent readers, then I would suggest giving them a bunch of little boxes (place them mixed in the other gifts on the gift table), each with a separate amount of $ in them or a marriage hint (sort of like an easter egg hunt). Dont sign your name to the boxes, instead write a small note and put it in a box letting them know where they got the $$ from.

My brothers best friend actually got him a billfold and put the money in it. The note in the card said something like- maintaining a woman isnt easy.. you are going to run through more of these than you know. when he opened the box he saw a billfold. at first he was confused until he dropped it and about 300 bucks fell out of it...lol

Try folding several pieces of money into little animals or objects ... it's sort of like origami, but that is done with 'squares' and a 'dollar' is rectangular. After you've folded the money, you may use some 'soft removable glue' to stick it to a piece of paper, which you can put into a 'frame' and cover with glass, so that it can be 'displayed' ... if you can use some items that go with 'getting married' in some way, or their 'pets' if they have them, that would be a wonderful and creative 'wedding present' ... and also have a good 'after-use' when they 'unfold and spend' their money.

You could always attach the money to a money tree.

Or you can look online for how to make oregami money and maybe make it into the shape of a flower or something else wedding related. I received a money rose once from my grandmother and all you had to do was gather the money in the middle, but over lay them in a way that the two sides made petals. So you could make a money bouquet. Below is a link for other ideas...the heart-box and fan are both nice...

Well that is my creative idea for the day...I hope it helps!

My fiance and I were given this as an engagement present:

Buy a salad spinner, fill it up with crumpled money as the 'lettuce' put in red and green M&M's for radishes and celery and orange paper shreads for carrots. It's best to use 1's and 5's because it takes a lot to fill, depending on how small you crumple.

And there you have one expensive salad!

Put it in a small box inside a medium box inside a larger box inside a huge box!!!

They also sell these maze things that are see through (you put a check or $ bill inside) and you have to get the little ball to the end of the maze before you can open the box.

Years ago, my cousin and her husband got a box with a brick in it. Inside the brick the giver had rolled up $20 bills and put one into each hole in the brick. I thought it was cute. I like the toilet paper idea too.

Good Luck!!

Tape dollar bills (or $5 bills) together and roll them up and put it in a toilet paper roll or something like that that you can cut a slit in to pull the money out.
