im 16 and i need braces, which is better invialign or regular metal braces???

ok honestly, braces hurt just cuz your teeth are moving around. i know that if i got to have invisalign, i wouldnt have kept those things in my mouth. i would get metal ones just because they will always do their job and you cant remove them and slow the process.

oh and invisalign makes you talk weird.

well i havnt had braces or anything but if i had to, and i had a choice, INVIALIGN!! all the way!! dont have anything against braces but u may get teased (hope not though) and if im thinking of the right thing... u teeth will look good as soon as u get them!! go with invialign!! but then its up to u!! depends on how severe he case of the over bite...invisalign completes only small movements at a time so if the bite isn't to extended then there shouldn't be a problem although having the plastic surounding your teeth keeping them somewhat open from the bottom teeth would contradict the whole procedure of getting your teeth to come back and sit propely where they should

i have an overbite and a little crowding on the bottom. I'm about to get invisaligns and my ortho said it would be just as good as regular braces and cost about the same. so i think you should go with invisalign. but you should talk to your ortho about what one is best for you.

I wanted invisaline instead of regular metal braces but my stupid insurance company would only cover for the metal ones. They suck; food gets stuck in them, and they rub against the insides of your mouth.
