what do you believe but cannot prove?

is there anything you firmly believe to be true but have no proof? what makes you think/feel that it is true and why no evidence?

It depends what kind of proof you want before you will believe. Some people may even want to prove that their existence is not real even they are standing in front of you. I hope you are not one of this kind of person.

Jesus claims in the scriptures that the proof of what he says is true comes from him and the one in heaven and that is God the Father who is his witness.

We earth people are different even if you see the hard fact in front of you, yet you can deny the evidence per se or unless that evidence agrees with what you want to believe.

I think foam products ( plates, food trays, etc.) pose a risk to humans also known as: ethylene, vinyl, acetate - EVA foam products. Only a few, like my child, may react to it immediately but in the long run I think it could be linked to many with unknown causes of stomach disorders. I am not a chemical engineer but do know what it does to my child. I am aware that some of the ingredients are listed as hazardous. These products are manufactured and so widely used in the food industry that they do not want the risk known.

I beleive certain things as a Pagan. I do not have proof that there is a sacred spark , a bit of the Divine, in everything in the natural world.

But even without proof, I choose to live as if it were so, because of what it does to and for me, and what it does (through my actions) to help others and to help support this green and lovely planet we live on.

I believe that there is a God and I believe that we live many lives. I have known that we reincarnate since I was a young child. I can't tell you why, I have just known. I tried to not believe in God, but He would not let me go.

There is no way to conclusively prove either of those beliefs are true.

The ability to communicate with those who have passed on, the ability to know things without anyone telling me, in sixth sense, I have these gifts, do not understand why I do, can only prove to person I am doing a reading on by giving information to them I would have no ability to no. Everytime I do a reading and give information to people that no one could have known, it blows me away. Don't understand it, but I talked to my priest, he said it is a gift from God, who I also can't prove exists, but that I know does exist. Good luck with your search, great question!

I believe that life must have come into existence elsewhere in the universe, independently of life here, but I cannot prove it. If there are a hundred billion billion billion star systems then it seem improbable that we are living in the only one which has something that we would recognise as life.

I believe that I am unsuitable for marriage and parenthood. And I am unwilling to prove it to myself. I already know how sensitive and insecure I am. I know how poorly I respond to criticism. I feel that I cannot trust anyone very far. I don't think I am financially capable of taking good care of children. Work stresses me out enough without introducing personal attachments.

I dont think there is anything that I believe that I cannot prove because everything I believe is based on what I see, my observation. Unless my eyes are lying to me then it is true.

I believe in Ghosts and the supernatural. I also believe that some people can see into the future and past and the genuine people do it to help people not to make money.
