If im doing it myself I worry about the line being straight in the back. Take a pen and start at the front of your head, Seperate slowly to make sure its even, and follow all the way to the back of your neck. Seperate the two. Put one in a pony just to keep out of the way. Take the loose half and braid (I find it easier to do it without looking in the mirror) Secure with a band and do the same for the other side.

Seperate your hair so it's straight down the middle. Then put one of the sides up in a clip and start on the other side. Hope it helps.

get three chunks of hair then take the first one and put it between the two other chunks of hair Then take the last chunk and put it in the middle between the OTHER two chunks of hair,(dont take chunks take a lot of strands :>)
