so...i like a boy (same old story, i must warn you). he doesn't like me (as you could have guessed). i'm trying to get over him, promising myself that this time i'll actually get over him - yes, i have tried numerous times. so...any help or advice for a seemingly hopeless romantic?

Really, your not going to get over him until you start looking for someone else. (which is hard to do, until your over this guy, catch 22) but make an effort to go out and start looking. Just like the old saying goes, plenty of fish in the sea, (but who wants to date a fish?) its true tho, lots of great guys out there, and im sure if you make yourself availiable the right one will eventually come along, and love you back just as much as you love him.

You need to get mad! I find in every love situation there is a pattern.
1. The idea
2. the thrill of the game
3. euphoria
4. passion
5. anticipation
6. dread
7. longing
8. emptiness
9. anger
10. revenge
11. Closure
Right now you are at #7. You need to realize it is over thats 8. Only then can you move forward to 9. I called pissed off!!! It is the road to recovery. 10. Tell his girl something about him that is embarrassing and he wouldn't want them to know!!!
11. If only in your mind see him a lowly pig, the cruel *** he is and know he will probably never have love, or the kind he could have had. Don't wish him harm but bask in the glory that it is not you he is hurting.
Then you can move on and find yourself a deserving one who will be as good to you as you are to them. Bliss!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't expect his person to be a gorgeous hunk, cause he may be exactly the opposite.

find yourself a new fling get busy with somthing talk to new guys enjoy being a single person for now because later you wont have any time for that
