Thanks for all the great answers!

I thought of this since I have encountered parents who spank their children over the tiniest things.

Library could mean different things. Normally we are referring to a public library, but that may not always be the case. There are private libraries that might specialize. And there are certain public libraries and certain schools that might specialize also.

It seems literacy is the minimum in material education.

Spiritual education is the most important.

Spare the rod, spoil the child.... (50%) Some children need spankings; others don't. It depends entirely upon the child, circumstances, and best method of discipline for the child. Some children only need a look or a word. Others need something to tell them, especially if they are doing something that could harm themself or someone else.

Never spare the rod. A child must always to what they are told no matter their age, no matter the circumstances. (0%) The age and circumstances always matter.

Spoil a child with everything the child wants and needs. (0%) Children don't need spoiling. Yes, they should have everything they need, but not everything they want. That is why we have so many terrors of children going around.

Take the child to the library once a month. (100%) Reading is a very important part of a child's life.

Take the child to the library every day. (50%) If the child wants to go to the library every day, sure. If they do not want to, they don't need to go every day.

Send your child to an expensive school. (0%) An expensive school is not needed.

Teach your child to read. 100% As I said before, reading is an important part of a child's life.

Teach your child to study. 100% A child who studyies will have a much more enjoyable education.

Be a loving example to the child 100% Children learn by example. If the parent doesn't teach the child, no one will. Children often watch their parents to learn from them. If you say do as I say and not as I do, it sends the wrong message to the child. If you show the child that you do something and enjoy doing it, they will be much more likely following your example.

The best way to rear a child is to be 100% consistent 100% of the time. It will confuse the child less. Be loving, but authoritative, set limits with out being restricting. Violence (spanking, etc) is never the answer.

Weird question but i have the answer. a good bit of all of these different methods equals a child who can not only make good decisions but will leave an empact also and survive in the real world.
SPARE THE ROD, SPOIL THE CHILD...(young so that when they're older you wont have to and then they can make good decision themselves. they'll know what's right and wrong)
SPOIL A CHILD WITH EVERYTHING THE CHILD WANTS AND NEEDS(everyone deserves to be spoiled rotton)
TAKE THE CHILD TO THE LIBRARY ONCE A MONTH or TAKE THE CHILD TO THE LIBRARY EVERY DAY
TEACH YOUR CHILD TO READ.
(start young: a love for books= a love to learn)
BE A LOVING EXAMPLE TO THE CHILD( the way you act will affect the way your child will be when older. The majority of the time, the child grows to be just like the parent-how they treat women/men, how they work with others, how they control their anger, how they view themselves, how they treat their own children)
TEACH YOUR CHILD TO STUDY
