Keep visiting the library. Good libraries even have books on how to read and study.

I have been trying to get my nieces and nephews into the library. What might work is to go to the library and check out a dozen books. Pick out books that interest you whether they are too long to read or not.

Go home and browse through all the books. It may take a week or more. Then decide which books attract your attention the most. You may be able to tell by how much time you spend reading a particular book.

Now bring the books that you weren't ready to read back to the library. Start reading the one or two books that you kept. Keep track of your eyesight health. Don't overstrain your eyes. Read up on that. Use good lighting when reading.

Try educational movies.

If you are in a class for a degree or certification and the above mentioned doesn't completely work then seek professional help from counselors or social workers. You may need a tutor. Perhaps there is someone close to your who could act as a coach or mentor. Pay them if that helps. In this case the means justifies the end.

As you realize rewards from getting in sufficient study time in - your motivation will improve.

I have found Dharma, Yoga and Bhakti to be very supportive of good educational habits. You might want to try the links I have provided below.

Make sure you sit in a chair without arm rests, and it shouldn't have cushioning on it. Make sure you sit sideways so that you're not leaning against the back of it too. That way you're less likely to get tired! It's uncomfortable, but kind of makes you get what you need to get done, done.
