African American" is offensive I have never been called this and I pray to never be called such- For I am- "*Nubian African Indian*" most of all last but not least " Black and Proud! this who I be!
I know not of any other offensive word that reeks havoc on me as such!

a fella i know had been drinking and he was falling all over the place and he sat on my lap, looked me right in the eyes and said "C*NT!!!! c*nt c*unt C*UNT" so i smashed a beer bottle over his head and he just laffed and me and said "I didnt mean it!" hahah... then a few weeks latter he did the same thing but he said "C-U-Next-Tuesday!......... you cant get mad at me for that one!"then got up and looked and my friend and said "i said C*nt to her... but shhh shell never know!" it was really stupid and thats when i realized he was just a jerk.. hahah

'cause i'm polish I hate being called "polak" by non-polish speaking people
for those who are not familiar with the confusion we get after entering englishspeakers zone:
"Polak" (in capital letter) means in polish: a "Pole"
for englishspeakers it means the dumbest person you can imagine :/
you would insult with this expression most of polish people who are aware of its english meaning

Names don't bother me at all as far as b*tch or c*nt or anything like that. But when kids are mean to my kids or call them names I feel it like a knife in my heart.
