Don't ask don't tell is the best policy out. Unless the Commander In Chief says otherwise, an openly gay military isn't going to happen. The Army, Navy, Air force and Coast Guard might buy into it. The Marine Corps? Oh heck no! There's no way that the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Hagee is going to entertain having an openly gay Marine Corps! Won't happen! I could see Chesty Puller rolling over in his grave if that were to happen! :)

Maybe the military should be exclusively homosexual. That way there would be no orphaned children or widows! I know a lot of highly motivated gay men. All that camraderie and P.T. and those snappy uniforms... The navy in full of seamen and the Marines are "ladies" Army has a lot of "grunts". I mean what's the difference? Is it not discrimination either way?

Good god, you're not thinking... you'd need FOUR separate berthing spaces, Male, Female, Gay, & Lesbian !!
Seriously though... there isn't supposed to be ANY sex going on in ANY barracks or berthing compartments homosexual OR straight.
In your last "question"... the one who makes the proposition should be punished for "fraterization" and the shover for "assault"

The service should be punished for letting it happen in the first place ! It ain't gonna happen, and I don't give a rat's behind just how loud these ***** lovers want to be, it ain't gonna happen !
Nothing, absolutely nothing would destroy the armed forces faster than to let homosexuals infiltrate those ranks. Please don't sight other country's that claim to have been successful with a program such as this. That's like saying Canada has a successful, national health plan .
If you haven't been in the armed forces and seen the potential problems that occur, particularly in the grunt operations, or aboard a close quarter, naval ship, you aren't entitled to offer an opinion!
If you're a homosexual who has succeeded in serving in the military, and made it through undetected, consider yourself lucky. It only takes one jilted lover to out your sorry @ss, and then your problems are just beginning. People don't realize it, but having a homosexual in your barracks is as bad as having someone with Aids living there too . To most of the troops, nothing is more despicable than a homosexual in their ranks, and once they become aware of it, he's got serious problems !
Don't think for a minute, the queen of the homosexuals, Nancy Pelosi, is going to change any of this. That disgusting old broad is already on thin ice with the American people, she'd be wise to sit this one out !

I guess you could direct this question to countries that already allow gay men to serve, such as Great Britian, Australia, and Israel. As usual when it comes to civil right the US is slow to catch on

Yes, openly gay people have a tendency to be the victims of beatings. The military is very close quarters. Gays need to take their agenda elsewhere on this one.

gays need to take their beefs elsewhere. I think the gay marriage thing needs alot of work. Let it go the current system is just fine. I dont think openly anything is good for the military. I dont think the rest of the world has ever been a standard americans try for we openly torture how backwards can that be.
