there is a boy who likes me so much but i dont like him back i talk to him for countless hours so know he is saying i am playing with his emotions so am i wrong for not liking him?

You are not wrong for not liking him. You are wrong for leading him on and playing with his emotions. Sounds like you enjoy hurting him and knowing you have the POWER to do so gets you off.

You are giving him false hope by spending so much time talking to him. He is obviously taking it as an indication that you like him. I think you know already that it isn't wrong not to have 'romantic' feelings towards somebody: you can't help chemistry (or lack of it). However I think you should make it very, very clear how you feel about him, and that the fact you like chatting to him does not and never will mean you fancy him. If he still does not get the message then you should be cruel to be kind and stay clear of him for a while til he realises it ain't ever gonna happen. I think you know that this is the fair thing to do already, and I think you are feeling guilty for not putting him straight, rather than not liking him

Be upfront with him. Tell him you want to just be friends. He won't like that but it's the truth. That way your not playing with his emotions. Let him know he is a good friend and you really like talking to him. You never know, maybe someday he will be the guy you've been waiting for! Be prepared though, he might not want you as a friend but as a girlfriend instead. So don't be surprised if he doesn't continue talking to you like before. Good luck

sweetie, if you don't like the boy then why do keep talking to him? Not that i'm saying don't talk to him at all, but if you don't share the same feelings as he does, i suggest you let him know asap, but do tell him u see him more of a friend material than as a bf. then it will be on him if he takes ur offer, if not he's not worth it. but don't give him mixed ideas ever or play w/ his emotions just for kix. be true always!

Well you should by no means be leading this guy on with flirtatious actions or words but you shouldnt have to stop interacting with him all together. Something liek this happened with me and I kind of left him alone for a month or so. I didnt ignore him but I didnt have long meaningful conversations and so he wasnt into me anymore and started liking a new girl and now we're friends. Maybe try that?

I had the same situation, sexes reversed. This girl really liked me but i did not like her back. I spent time with her to make her happy and eventually we became friends. She got over the fact that i did not have a crush on her and we have been friendly eversince. You should just continue to be friendly with him. However, you should tell him that you just don't like him that way, and if he can't except it then i guess we can't be friends anymore. At least thats what I would do if I was in your position.

Your not wrong you can't force yourself to like somebody. But stop talking to him you know you just love the attention and he needs to move on. You could be leading him on a little so stop, this guy isn't interested in being friends stop talking to him your just feeding your ego.

You can't help how you feel so no, it's not wrong that you don't like him. But, now that you know he likes you, you should try not to give him any false hope. Don't flirt with him, etc.

You need to be upfront and explain that you don't want him as a boyfriend, only a friend.
