You can get forms from a business card/stationary store. What you are looking for is a private contract for the sale of a vehicle. If the car is less than ten yrs old, the odometer disclosure form is required. You will also want to be sure to do your title transfer, adding you on the title as the lienholder/legal, until they finish paying, you will have a solid document, along with the contract if anything goes sour. Be sure that all people involved in the loan, sign all documents, I would have them signed in front of a notary, that way identification is required, and you have a witness to the agreement. Good luck.

Just hand write a receipt on a sheet of paper or draw up a contract on a sheet of paper and you both sign it. If your talking about someone who owes you money for a car you already sold them - than take them to small claims court, take all your receipts, bill of sale, etc. with you.
