he said that he had to think about it, his friends are telling him to say yes, even though they dont like me very much, he is really nice and smiles at me a lot, he said that he would tell me his answer tommorrow and i am nervous about what it will be, if a guy is nice to you and smiles a lot does that mean he likes you, or does he not like me because he "needs more time to think"??? (Please, any responses are good) (Sorry i typed so much)

If he says yes, take the response seriously. If he says no, don't take that too serious. If he smiles at you so much, he wouldn't want to hurt you that much. So if he says no, try to act normal. You'll at least be good friend. I'm sure he doesn't want to hurt you, even if his response is a bit weird (hey, boys, right?)

i have no idea why he would need "time to think" --- i know if i want to go out with a lady when we meet maybe he is trying to play it "cool" --- i have no idea what he may be thinking --- best wishes and i hope he is not a complete jerk (we are always jerks the degree varies)

i think he likes you-- depending on how old the two of you are and his maturaty level, he might just need time to think about if its a good idea to get himself involved at this time with a girl he knows he likes.

well.... if that is all that he does that seems like he is just being nice but since he did think about it and his firends are telling him to say yes then most likely he will cause most guys will listen to their friends most of the time..
