Ive been madly in love with my best friend for the past four years, but didn't pursue it because I was afraid of losing his friendship for what might be a pipe dream. Lately I've been dating an incredible guy. It's be the best relationship I've ever been in. He's funny, smart, and very attractive. Ive almost stopped thinking about my best friend.Last night, My best friend and I were driving home after a concert. When he hugged me goodbye, the hug lingered.The Hug evolved into the Neck Nuzzle.He kissed me.It definitely WASN'T platonic. I broke the kiss. I had never cheated on anyone before, and I wasn’t going to start now. My best friend backed away, said (I kid you not) “I’m so sorry, please don’t hate me” and went into his apartment with his hands over his eyes (?). Please help me. I haven’t talked to him yet. And I don’t know what I should do.

Your friend has low self esteem and that is why he wasn't willing to try and date you. Now, he finally cracked, and is worried sick that you won't speak to him again. If you went to him, he would probably be the most devoted person in your whole life.
In fact, he all ready is.
Step 1. The man your with, is he the one? Where does he see this relationship in 5 years? - Answer it your self first.
Step 2. Knowing your Friend would leap into your arms and marry you in a hart beat. You love being around him. You can both tolerate each other for long periods of time. Would this make you happy?
Step 3. Sex never gets in the way of love. Get over you fear that having sex with your friend would ruin anything. The feeling is mutual or it is not mutual.
Go over the 3 in your head for 1hr. and 1hr only. set a timer. Then Take ACTION!
Start talking to your men and get to the bottom of your feelings.
I would also tell your friend, "This is your one and last chance to have you as a girlfriend rather then just friends. Tell me everything you feel for me right now or forever hold your peace." Tell him if he needs time to think then give him a specified time limit.
I guarantee he will spill his guts for you.
If he says something that really sends you head over heals then you will have your answer. Otherwise, he is just going to interfere with your current boyfriend and every new boyfriend to come.

You need to decide if your best friend is the type of guy you could be with forever, if that's what you want. If it is, you need to be honest with your boyfriend and tell him you're sorry, but you have feelings for your best friend and you don't want to string him or yourself along. I would sit down and have a talk with your best friend first tho, and be honest with each other about if you both want to persue a relationship. (Just keep in mind that you are not broken up with the other yet) You could be passing up a wonderful opportunity if you dono't talk about it, and if he isn't into it, then at least you know and you'll only be embarrassed for a little while.

Please you have to talk to him, let him know how you feel, best freinds don't kiss each other for no aparent reasons, he must have some kinds of feelings for you that he had been hiding for as long as you hid yours. you both have to work this out. if the both of you like each other then you should give it a shot. About your boyfreind, it sounds to me like you like your best freind more than him, don't get into a relationship with your bestfreind b4 u break it off with him, tell him the truth, maybe he might understands. you have to follow your heart!

Follow ur heart. Lol i kno that sounds chessy but now u kno ur best friend likes u bac. Girl if u really are madly in love with ur best friend and feel no spark between ur boyfriend right now girl dump ur boyfriend and go for ur best friend!!!!!Good luck :)

it sounds like he is in love with you. you said you love him madly so dont let go of a good chance to ask him about his feelings toward you. read tips on love and relationships to help you better on this site

There should be no question,Stay with the one that you are now with and forget the old friend,You have moved on and you are happy with your boy-friend.Why risk blowing a sure thing.Hang in there.

4 SURE GO WITH UR BEST FRIEND!!!! dude! ur best friend likes u 2! go with him i would chose NOT 2 call him and go with the walk and talk. espesial because u could get a KISS and i would also recomened breaking up with ur boyfriend after because ur not POSITIVE ur friend likes u or something could go wrong. but im 4 SURE he likes u!
