A baby cannot speak. This is their only way to communicate with their parents or other caregivers. Babies have different cries if they need comfort, if they are hungry, if they need changing, or if they are scared. It's their language until they learn to speak. Listen carefully and learn the crying language.

Hungry=cry bored=cry sleepy=cry pain=cry lonely=cry it is our job as adult to listen and determine what each cry means and how it sounds from other types of cries
