This girl and me have been best friends for about 2 years. Recently, she broke up her boyfriend and we've been spending more time together. I've grown to love her and i dont know how to tell her after we've been friends for so long. We flirt all the time but thats just our friendship. I can't really tell if she feels that way about me because she flirts with other friends too. How can i tell her?

I think you should man~up and let her know the way you feel about her, I know it's hard for you because your probably thinking if she doesn't feel the same way about you; you might lose a good friendship (if it's a strong friendship you wont lose it) but if your not honest about your feelings you might lose her to some other guy anyways, the same thing happened to me, he didn't man~up and I was afraid of losing him so I didn't say anything and by the time i found out he's feelings over me it was already too late plus now he's getting married to one of my best cousin...SAD but TRUE!!!

Well, first don't just randomly call her up and say "I love you". That will probably freak her out if she has no idea how you feel. I should know, a good friend of mine tried that on me. The best way would be to slowly work up to it. Compliment her more often and see how she reacts. If that works well, then invite her to do something that's more of a date thing than a friend thing (like dinner and a movie). If things go well then, depending on your personality, I'd suggest either telling her that you like (don't say love yet) her or trying to hold her hand. Baby steps work best. You don't want to confess your love for her until you're pretty sure she feels the same way.

Theres always the simple yet challenging one, just ask her or tell her.

To answer ur Q, u cold flatly tell her, you could write her a note, and give it to her, or put it in her locker, talk to her in private, with no distractions, but do what your comfortable with.

The other ones are hard to do, sometimes the girl will drop hints that she may like you. You can do the same, while watching her reaction to them.

The way girls drop hints is by, looking or staring at you often, smiles at you a lot, and will try to get your attention sometimes...
lol sry! i cant really think right now.

But dont try and make her jealous or crap, its stupid and you may even looser her that way.

They say, action speaks louder than words. If you can't tell her that you like her, just show her, i.e, surprise her, send her flowers, etc. If she ask, why are you doing this to her, then, it's about time you tell her how and what you feel about her. If she smiles and says something in return, she likes you. But if she just smiles and and she has no reactions, then, she doesn't. She flirts with other friends, maybe she's still looking for that something that she hasn't seen on you, the key here, just be true to yourself and to what you feel.

dont, u ll make that mistake and you ll never be able to go bk as being friends. first think is it worth going out for 3-4 months and then breaking up which can be very painful if you have to face the person everyday and talk to them ,but ofcoz if u havn't got strong friendship with the person and you know that n othing is stopping you from moving on after all this is over , go for it , just hang round more and ask her how wud she tell a guy that she likes him , if she asks why , just say u curious (after all u r friends u shud be able to talk bout anythin, rite)

Faint heart never won fair lady.

Start bringing her a little gift every time you see her, and act like you want to be her boyfriend. Start conversations about being married and building a life with someone when you finish school or whenever you plan to do that. Tell her you'd like someone just like her.

Be loveable. Put your best foot forward and give her a prince to dream about--you!

Then ask her to be your girl.

Good luck.

lol i have the same problem but i fixed it . im a girll and i liked my best friend a guy and i didnt know if he liked me or not cause he flirts a lot too with other girls. I told his friends to ask him if he liked me so they did turns out he did like me =]

so first find one of her really close friends and ask them if she likes u or not. or just go up to her and tell her that u like her more than a friend. we hate it when a guy likes us and they dont tell us it confuses us . so my advise to u is go tell her u like her

good luck to u =]

Well, say it strait out.
I broke up with my boyfriend and my best friend and I have been talking more and more. I've grown to love him and I told him strait out.
It won't do any harm, best friends are best friends and will always be best friends.

Its hard to answer your question because its different for everyone but you can slowly start hinting it little by little and see if you should take it further or you can just ask her and what ever the answer is just don't let it come between your friendship

well i suggest telling her straight fowardly. it will be super awkward but u cant resist not knowing. so if i were u i would say it as simple as possible around no peeps and then see what happens. if ur too chicken to do this....just watch ur dream of being with her go down the drains. go with ur gut and say what ur gut says. :) good luck!
