I realize that sounds funny, but I was searing meat in olive oil that was over very high heat for too long. The oil I guess burnt up and left dark stains all around the inside edge. It may not be burn oil exactly, I guess it may have been the "smoke" or whatever you want to call it which left a resin on the pan similar to what builds up inside the hood over a comercial grill.

Comet and some good scrubbing. Or you could boil some water in it and soften that stuff up first. And a rough scowering pad.

i've got have been given one among those pans. i like it, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it is not an egg pan. era. Use a non-stick pan. It won't cook dinner your pancakes the two, i understand, i've got tried. the #a million factor i've got discovered approximately this pan is the lid. The lid is a vital device. With the lid it rather is a steamer / Convection form cooker. constantly have a cup of water, only in case the food sticks to it, because it rather is the #a million way for removing caught food. upload some tablespoons of water, cover and shake! inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it is not stable for right here: Eggs, Baron Verulam, Hashbrowns, pancakes, french toasts, etc. extremely any food which will smash in case you upload water to it. only use a non-stick pan for those products and the immaculate for each little thing else. I basically have an 8" teflon pan. i purchase the cheap ones, and as quickly because it flakes, I toss it. yet my stainless is my new buddy. . . that and my new forged iron pan too! have relaxing!

The greatest cleaner ever made!!! Kidding, I'm not sure if there's greater but I love this stuff. It's called Bartender's Friend. It comes in powder and like a semi liquid form...GET THE POWDER! it works great on everything
metallic (ie. stainless steel, copper, alluminum, etc.) as well as glass-top ranges and counters when there's things stuck on or burnt on.

Hope that helps!

Just pour white vinegar in and let it sit for a while. They slowly boil the vinegar and use a scrubby to clean off. Works like a charm.

Stainless steel is very strong. You can use steel wool or a Brillo pad to scrub it off. Or, you can absolutely get it off with Easy Off oven cleaner.
