Every time I open IE7 I get the error message saying that it has encountered an error and needs to close. It gives me the choice to send a report or to close the program. Neither have worked so I have installed and Un-installed the program numerous times and still it says the same error. I also have Mozilla Firefox and AOL Explorer but I need to use IE for most of my programs updates. Any help? Thanks

Uninstall IE 7 from your PC. You don't need IE 7 for the program updates, IE 6 will works just fine. If you need to, you can install an extension called IE Tab for FireFox. This extension will make Firefox to use the IE engine on web site that are not compatible to FireFox like Microsoft Window updates....etc....

You might try activating msconfig (type that in the Run blank in your start menu), go to Start Up, and disable both Mozilla and AOL so they don't automatically start every time you boot your computer. They may be conflicting with IE7 if they're running in the background. When you need one or the other, just close IE7, and click on a desktop or other icon that they should have made available during installation.

It might be because of your AOL Explorer or Fifefox. It's either that or your computer is not compatible with the IE7.

Many of us could guess what the problem is - but one thing that would really help is if, when the error pops up, you click the 'Details' button and provide the info there-in.
