There I was, wondering if being a Geek was a bad thing. I looked it up in Wiki. Aaaah! It's Me! They've found me! A geek is an individual who is fascinated by knowledge and imagination, usually electronic or virtual in nature. I am So Happy. I was born at exactly the wrong time to be either Generation X or Y. I grew up without an acceptable social tag. But now I have one. Now I can hold my head up, in public, and proudly say that I Am A Geek! I belong to an amorphous category. I have, as yet, undefined qualities. People may arbitrarily decide not to like me simply because of my designation. Bliss! No more having to go through the tedious process of introductions, and 'have you seen the latest esoteric electronic device I've built?'. I can skip all that nonsense. This is fantastic. Brainy chicks are going to dig me. I'll finally be able to take night classes in Klingon, and not feel awkward. Wow. The possibilities are as unlimited as the flow on effects of Michael Faraday's pioneering work with magnetism and electricity have been in the development of the cyber age.

I don't know... I wear glasses, I have a lot of scientific knowledge that i don't do anything with, but i still try to obtain as much as i can. I have a huge music collection which I catalog, separate in genres and then sub genres (thank you itunes) and i can probably tell you a brief (or not so brief) story of each and everyone of the artist in this collection, but I'm not a big fan of Star Wars or Star Trek, so you be the judge.

No way am I a Geek. I do very macho things like snort milk out my nose, tape my glasses, and wear suspenders.

I like Star Trek, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, and I would consider playing Dungeons and Dragons again. So no, not at all. :)
