I love discussing religion with people. I myself am wiccan. I like hearing other peoples views on religion. Most Christians get very upset when I state my views, even though I accept theirs. Then they want too argue that they are right. I then try to drop it and they get even more upset.!!

The topic of religion is indeed a sensitive one and it depends upon the reaction of the other person or people to whom you are talking. If anyone reacts strongly, get away from the subject.
If you are initiating the topic, especially with someone to whom you have never discussed religion before, try not to make a bold initial statement regarding your thoughts and beliefs. Everyone has their own opinions about religion and those opinions stretch over a very, very broad spectrum.
If you find someone who seems open minded and can even say they understand your point of view, fine. Even if they don't agree with you and express their personal opinion with a level head, that's great too. It's only when a person reacts strongly, in what ever manner, that the subject just needs to be dropped.
Like I said before, everyone has an opinion about religion and who is to say which opinion is correct. That is why I think is it senseless and disrespectful to argue about it.

using fact faith isn't a authentic factor... it rather is a concept... i will instruct that Kobe scored 30 factors in a recreation... i won't instruct that there is a GOD... it rather is a factor of the reason persons are quiet approximately faith. using actuality that with faith... the suited i will do is desire that my opinion is the reality... i won't rather clarify it to people with out recognizing the potential for conflict, argument, or maybe dying might take place. If i'm chatting with somebody and that they make a compelling factor it might desire to alter the way I see issues. If I actual have an open concepts then i visit settle for it and examine yet whilst i do no longer even nevertheless it could make experience i visit hotel to conflict of a few type to disclaim that they could be surprising. it is actual one among the subconscious motives people do no longer communicate faith between many others. i'm hoping this helps.

I think religion is very interesting to talk about. I like learning about all the possibilities and stuff. But you have to talk about it with someone who feels the same way or else... Some people who are very religious take offense when you discuss views that may oppose their religion. So not unless they share the open-mindedness that you do, or have similar questions to wonder about.

Well, there's sort of a rule about social discussion. In public settings you should never discuss religion or politics. It's just in bad taste because everyone has their own opinion and you can cause some horrid fights over some silly comment.

If it is about salvation, you would every right to lose your temper. There in only one way of salvation, that is grace alone. Anyone that says anything different is a heretic and is not saved themselves. Also if they deny the person and work of Jesus Christ, they are a heretic. This would include the deity of Jesus Christ. But if it is something about like the angels in the Bible, it's not a big deal.

It's a very sensitive topic to talk about. It does make many people angry or offensive, so it's best not to talk about it so lightly.

I'm not saying it's bad to talk about this. People should be talking about this because people should be able to tell their opinions freely. But what I mean is, pick who you are talking to and see what's around you with more care. Otherwise you might end up getting hurt.

It just means that she hasn't studied enough to realize that the bible is the most historically accurate document in antiquity and that no other ancient document. It is word for word accurate from scrolls that date hundreds of years BC.

i think it should be, it would be nice to have intellectual discussions with people without them getting offended. but religion is just too personal to some people. to some, their religion is their life, and they will defend it to the end. They dont want to see any problems/issues with their religion. I wish people would be more open minded. but oh well

Yes talk about it openly but also be mindful that your believes are not the only ones.. if you notice your friend being unconformable.. best to drop subject... friends won't always agree..
