Unless you only have one grade in the class that is a 58%, there is no good way to calculate it. However, if 58 if your only grade, then
58%+70% = 128%
128%/2 = 64%

If you have more than one grade that average 58%, to calculate the right average, I would need to know all the numbers that made up the 58% average. For example, if you had five grades that averaged 58%, you would have to take their total (est. 290, which is 58 x 5) and add the 70%, so in that case 290 + 70 = 360/6 = 60%, so your new score would be lower than that above.

Also, I am not sure how the 55 points would factor in because I would need to know how many points you scored out of the possible totals of all the other scores.

It depends. I gave every grade equal weight because it was easier. So, I added all the grades, got the average, and divided by the number of grades I had. For example, if I had two tests that both had 55 and another test that had a 70, I'd add 55+55+70 and get 180 and divide by 3 and get a 60. Some teachers, though, give a different weight to quizzes than they do to tests and projects.
