Toss the pasta with a bit of the pasta water and the Parmesan cheese before you add the marinara sauce - very yummy

Yes, yes, yes! Parmigiano-Reggiano and your pasta marinara are crying out to each other. Pasta alla marinara without Parmesan is like a broken pencil....pointless.

I would, but I love parmesan cheese. All a matter of taste, if it is a dinner party serve the cheese on the side.

Traditionally people say that's a "no-no".... because its invasive and changes the soft flavor of the sauce....
