Have you ever had an experience where you suddenly feel like you are looking at the world but not a part of it? it happens to me all the time. i will be activly participating in something, and suddenly feel like i am just watching the situation. it almost feels like i have stepped out of my body for a bit, even though i am still seeing things from my perspective, which is why i hesitate to call it an out of body experience, because i am not actually looking down on the situation. i hope that makes sense. has anyone else had this happen? how often? it kind of feels like i am looking through a two way mirror. is there some psychological explination for this? or some significance that i dont no about? because i can be participating in a conversation the entire time this is going on, and still feel entirely removed from it.

dude, gm, the links you posted have absolutly nothing to do with my question! i know this isnt a result of psychiatric practices because this has happend to me since i was about two which is as far back as i can remember, and i never saw a psychiatrist for anything except some school related problems in my late teens.
