Christ is the fulfillment of the Jewish scriptures. He is the one that the Jews were waiting for. The Messiah that is the Savior of the world from the line of David. The first Christians were Jews by the thousands because they knew who He was. The Messiah that the prophets spoke of.... Some of the Jews did not believe as they do today ,some Jews believe today and are called Messianic Jews. We have great respect for the Jews and support them the best we can. They are the people of the covenant of God. We are in the same family only by faith. Jesus has brought us together to all worship Him. That is why the US has Judeo-Christian values. We believe in the same God. Their scriptures are our Old Testament
God bless

Good Question dude! Are you sure you are not a professor?

Christianity is something that happened because of Jesus "the Christ." He was sent to Earth as a man and he is the "Son of God." He always "was" and "is God" and part of the mysterious "3 persons in ONE God."

Yes you are correct. Jesus' followers and the name they were eventually called (Christians) were a completion of God's work for his devoted people called the Jews.

So a cult in Webster"s dictionary is; a system of religious worship, devoted to a person, principle, etc.

Religion in Webster's is; belief and worship of God, a specific system of belief or worship, etc. built around God, a code of ethics,a philosophy of life, etc.

Yep! I guess that I'm a cultist! I am devoted to Jesus, the code he follows and the one he teaches. (10 commandments given to Moses from God) I am a cultist that is; a Christian, and I worship Jesus, as the only one in the universe, and he is beyond my imagination or understanding. Some people may call that, Faith or a cult. I believe that there is something to life beyond start and finish and Jesus came to guide his people the Jews and the Gentiles (Non-Jews) to heaven.

I guess I am a non Jew called a, Catholic Christian! hw

In a way, yes. It was called the Jesus Movement. It wasn't called Christianity until much later. In every way, they were Jews. That is why there was so much argument about whether or not the new movement in the faith should still follow the dietary laws that are in the Torah.

Christianity started as a resolution of what was wrong with Judaism. God had to fix it himself.
